Folk Festival
Egg tempera on gesso panel, 18 x 24
$3,500

From the late 60s until the early 80s, the highlight of my summer was the Middletown Folk Festival, held in a park about 1/2 mile from my house. I was a mandolin playing teen, loved to sing and was entranced by the amazing folk musicians that graced the stage on those magical nights. This painting was conjured up out my my memories of those days. The only thing missing are the fireflies--it's not too late to add them.
