Baguette Alone
Silverpoint, 6 x 24
$575

I made this silverpoint drawing from life. I worked quickly because I wanted to finish before the lovely crusty baguette from my favorite bakery, Antoinette Boulangerie, went stale. Here I used a new kind of paper--Terraskin. It is made from crushed rock and a little resin. Because of the tooth created by the stone base, there was no need to prepare the drawing surface with gesso or paint.
